Rebbetzin Freda and Judith Tobin fundraising to buy ambulance

Rebbetzin Freda Kaplan of Norrice Lea Synagogue leapt from a plane in a charity skydive to raise funds for an ambulance so the terminally ill can fulfil a final ‘bucket list’ wish. The ambulance will be donated to The Ambulance Wish Foundation UK.

Rebbetzin Freda’s father experienced a Wish Ambulance in Israeli when, four days before his death, he was taken from his hospice to his grandson’s Chuppah in one.

Judith Tobin of The North London Hospice explains “The ambulance will also be available to the hospice when it’s not being used for ‘wishes’. This is vital as we currently pay for stretcher transfers.”
